Goodyear offers an 85,000 mile tread wear warranty with this tire model. The tire promotes great all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the tread pattern enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The tire compound keeps its flexibility in all weather, while the tread elements enhance the road gripping ability all year. The wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. This results in a safer hydroplaning resistance and first-rate all weather performance. The tread pattern enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The continuous center rib maintains the tire’s constant road contact to increase the tire’s controllability. In other words, it enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands and it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the tire during the drive. In this manner, the driver can confidently control the vehicle in all weather. The tire’s internal structure consists of twin steel belts and a polyester casing.
